Consent Understanding &
Boundary Education
The Workshop
All began 2020 when a bunch of different workshop facilitator came together to create VANI in Berlin. We tried to figure out, how to create a safe(r) space for anyone to join our new workshops including Vulnerability Authenticity Nudity Intimacy.
So we created all together a simple but powerful workshop about consent & boundaries and made it mandatory for everyone before joining any other session.
APPROACH
I had the honor to hold that workshop for all new joiners and with time, repetition and daily new input and perspectives, the workshop developed into a great tool. The approach shifted from the typical "if this, then that..." to a "we help you to understand it within yourself, so it becomes a natural habit instead of rules you have to follow"
And every participant, even the ones who were teacher themselves, learned a little something or had a little ahhha effect.
As in the studio, the online classes have a limited capacity because I want to try to answer all questions in the end, and be able to interact with most participants at least once, to make a virtual experience as personal as possible.

PARTICIPANTS
For who is this workshop:
It sounds weird, but I mean it in it's very literal way: for everyone! So yes, also for you!
Doesn't matter how deep you went in this topic, how much experience you have, even as a teacher yourself you can maybe learn a new approach to the topic and exchange your point of view.
The only things you should bring is curiosity and vulnerability, cause you might experience moments in which you feel guilt or shame, and that's ok, we all know that feeling. Stay curious and learn how to avoid that for the future.
(We will have a Workshop for teenagers under 18y soon, please subscribe to the mailing list via the contact form, if you are interested for your kids)
